Megan the Inditer
Hello, and welcome to my writing portfolio! My name is Megan, and I am an inditer—or in other words, a writer; I just like cool-sounding words and vocabulary, enough that I even named my first novel the Inditers. So specifically, I am a creative writer. I have self-published eleven novels, three collections of poems, and three anthologies of short stories on Amazon, and I have co-authored a travel pamphlet with my friend Bonnie Bair. I also enjoy listening to music, dance, art, and eating too much cereal.
I graduated from Brigham Young University–Idaho in 2021 with a B.A. in English (with a creative writing emphasis) and gained certifications in proofreading from Proofread Anywhere in 2019 and library science from IAP Career College in 2026. I also used to do some copyediting through my own online business—I still proofread for others on occasion; I worked at a grocery store for a few years; and I currently work in an Amazon warehouse.
Most days, you can find me wrangling my brothers, cat, and rabbit in Idaho while I try to follow Jesus Christ and navigate all the crazy that goes on in this world!
Thank you for visiting. I hope that you'll enjoy your time here!
"Spread the disease of books, except the disease is kale which is still good for you but which tastes like cupcakes."
"The reading habit is most valuable in life. I mean by that the practice of using a little time, say half an hour a day, in the systematic reading of worthwhile literature. The mind is opened to precious fields of thought; the achievements of the ages become ours; even the future takes form. As the mind and spirit are fed by well-chosen reading, comfort, peace and understanding come to the soul. Those who have not tried it have missed a keen and easily accessible joy."
